Oops, forgot to update this, haha

Thu May 21, 2009, 9:59 PM
I'm home for the summer. YAY! Not doing much except staying up late, playing the Sims, watching Chuck over and over, and driving around doing random errands. It's rather enjoyable though.

Not looking forward to taking Geology in July. Would make rather be going to Comic-Con with my friend Belgin (cause we TOTALLY would've been able to go!!!), but the stupid tickets are sold out. Both the 4-day and just the tickets for Saturday. So, unfortunately, my one year I would really really want to go (Lost, Chuck, AND Supernatural!! And it's definitely Lost & Supernaturals last year!), I can't. AK@*u#okm!l! I just tried that randomly, and it turned out horrible, haha.

But I am enjoying myself. Going to my friend Lisa's tomorrow to take care of her dog and then show her Chuck season 1, woohoo! Gotta keep getting the word out about my now-tied-for-favorite show :D YAAAAAY SEASON 3 CANNOT WAIT!

  • Mood: Hope
  • Listening to: Don't Stop Believin' - Glee Cast (on repeat)
  • Watching: Chuck season 2 again (I'm on episode 6!)
  • Drinking: Water, as always

So weird. I just sent an @reply to johnnylunchbox on Twitter, and when I checked out his page I noticed that he @replied a 'leleana'. Well that looked familiar enough to spark my curiosity so I clicked away. Saw the link to this DA page and it all made sense, haha. *is following you now* username is FarahJayden!

Haha, wow! That's really funny, actually! What are the chances of that? :) Following you back, of course, since I actually "know you" (unlike the random people who follow me that I'm like Who ARE you?!)

This sig is nekkid. Because I don't know what to put here.
WOO! And I know how that is. I usually get sketchy (promoter-type) people following me, but they're easy to identify. See you in the Twitterverse. ;]

I'm glad you liked it!! :D My favorites are (in no particular order) The All-Spark, Bumblebee, Arrival to Earth, and then 16-20 all in a row. Seriously awesome.

Haha, it's all good. I figured you were busy :) And I can be patient!

And YES that is the song. It is epic. And gorgeous. And way too much fun to play on the piano. The entire soundtrack is good too. But that song is definitely awesome.

Okay , big news. I just got back from visiting a friend at Ohio State (hence why I have not been able to give a reply for such a long time), but right before that I downloaded a couple soundtracks from iTunes. I bought the Angels and Demons, Jumper, and Cloverfield soundtracks (and one song from the Hancock soundtrack because I needed to complete the album). I listened to them while on the bus, and they were awesome. I have yet to see Angels and Demons, but just knowing that the music is the way it is tells me that I am going to enjoy the movie.

How about you? Have you heard any great music in general lately?
I've unfortunately been super busy, so I haven't really had the chance to look for new music yet. :( I did listen to the 30 second clips on itunes for Angels & Demons, since you said you liked it, and it does sound good. I'm gonna see the movie sometime soon, so if I notice it in the movie as well, I'll definitely buy the music.

I saw Star Trek last Saturday though, and loved the music. I was totally expecting that though - I love Michael Giacchino, and as I'm a huge JJ Abrams fan, I already know the two of them do almost everything together (thats why Giacchino composes for BOTH Lost and Fringe). But yeah, there were at least 3 times in the movie where, completely ignoring what was happening on screen, I was like "OMG MUSIC" and my sister was like "SHHH." Haven't bought it yet, but that's cause I don't have enough money credit in the itunes store yet. Gotta go buy another gift card :D Only downside is the songs are short.

I also totally preordered the score music for Transformers 2 off Amazon. No idea what it sounds like yet, but I loved the 1st movies enough to trust that Jablonsky will do a great job for the 2nd as well.

Okay, big news. I saw the Revenge of the Fallen yesterday and the second I got home I torrented the entire soundtrack, which was a fantastic decision. I don't know why the movie is getting the reviews that it is. Have you seen it yet?
Also got the soundtrack IMMEDIATELY at midnight moments after it came out. And YES I've seen the movie!!! Transformers (the first) is my favorite movie EVER, so I've been looking forward to this movie for MONTHS. The entire thing was like a dream, because I was FINALLY seeing it! And I LOVED it! It's getting sucky reviews because critics only judge movies based on a scale of "artistry." Not "entertainment." Hence why you don't listen to critics when it comes to summer blockbusters, for the most part. So I am SOOOO seeing this movie again this weekend! After my sister's wedding tomorrow haha.

But yeah, I loved the score. However, what kinda sucks is there's more music theme's from the first movie in the sequel, but not actually on the score (did that sentence make sense?). Like, the studio LEFT that music off the official score. I hope someday they'll release a longer version. But I still love the score though. I feel like crying everytime the Arrival to Earth theme starts up in Matrix of Leadership. Actually, I feel like crying of happiness EVERY TIME any theme from the first movie starts.
